After the first six months of life, nutritional and feeding needs change. Intestinal maturation is very important as new foods gradually appear in the baby’s diet: ADVANCE 2 provides a mixture of essential fatty acids (linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids) that favours the correct absorption of nutrients.
L-carnitine is fundamental for the formation of ATP, the baby’s energy source. Taurine is directly involved in the development of platelets, necessary for correct coagulation, and helps the development and maturation of the nervous system.
Zinc supports biochemical processes such as energy absorption and the development of the senses of smell and taste, and calcium is vital to build strong bones during the first stages of life.
